49ers Draft Pick

I saw this in the end of the Week 2 thread, but, felt it needed its own thread. After all the comments over losing our 1st round pick, I at least held out hope that we would get a high 1st rounder in the 49ers trade. It is unbelievable how outplayed they have been for the first 2 games and are now 2-0.

If the 49er team so far is the real one, their upside is .500 IMO even after the 2-0 start.

My concern is they're 2-0 when playing badly, will start to play better then play .500 the rest of the way legitimately. I doubt that will happen but it's my concern.

We can only hope the AFC Central teams they play kill them.

I mean actually kill them. Because otherwise it seems that franchise is charmed.

A top 15 and I'll be happy. I can see them going 500 or worse. They haven't played well so far and have only squeeked by in their wins. Can we please use it on a LB????

I know, but it still kills me that the Rams and Titans were both driving for game winning FGs at exactly the same time and they both bit the wad. Combine that with the "just knock the ball out of the endzone and you win" bonehead move by Arizona last week and the 1st round pick / home field advantage gods combined to simultaneously kick us in the groin and teeth. Having SF at 0-2 and Indy at 1-1 would have been ever so sweet. Ah well...
