They should’ve just gone ahead & scheduled Dallas for week 3 instead of CAR. We’re already playing the rest of the NFCE. Also, since joint practices are usually with the first 2 preseason opponents, now BB can get a closer look at Redskins DE Anthony Lanier and maybe send them a conditional 22nd rounder for him....or better yet, send Jordan Richards

IIRC, the final attendance for the Wednesday Eagles-Pats joint practice in 2014 was just under 24,000 - a record at the time. We arrived just a bit less than 2 hours before practice was to start and could barely find space to sit on the hill. A lot of fans were there to get a look at the Pats new rookie QB.

He didn't disappoint.

I can't remember the last time New England hosted the third preseason game. Having Philly come here reminds me of when the Pats went to Carolina for a preseason game after beating them in the Super Bowl and all their fans were pumped for "revenge."

I'm stuck between either Lamar Jackson or Baker Mayfield as our next QB, when it comes to Jackson heard he's not as accurate as a pocket passer but probably sitting on the bench for 2-3 years should be enough to fix that, from what I read Mayfield's very accurate and his accuracy would be a perfect fit for us, and heard he can move safeties with his eyes
