I just want to see Linebacker improved and d lineYeah, this is the Patriots' MO, I'm really not worried. They'll make some value deals over the next week or two. In an ideal world I'd have liked to see them upgrade at LB and keep Solder, but with money being a factor and their cap space being where it is I'm content to reserve judgment until the full picture is in place.
I feel like we are saving our cap for something big coming All the moves we have made our low cap hits solid moves.
I am talking about Raiders,nPersonally I'd take Kenny Britt for a third of that
Yeah and the big party on the house of GronkSomeone is smoking if they get a 1st for Thomas.
We should get 4 1sts if we trade Gronk
Yeah, that stuff must be Grade A+++ in Seattle smh.Someone is smoking if they get a 1st for Thomas.

Cowboys
IDK.
"Saving all our cap space"?
Currently, $15.66M
Minus ...
$2.5M-$3.0M for rookies
$6.0M to cover in-season emergencies, NLTBE incentives, etc.
Leaves about $6.5M-$7.0M in usable cap space with ...
... Still to be re-signed:
Fleming/Waddle (probably $3.5M-$4.0M 2018 cap hit - each)
Slater/Bademosi (probably ~$2.0M cap hit - each)
Marquis Flowers - ???
Not really a lot of cap space for any splash signings without significant additional cuts and extension-restructurings.
Personally I'd take Kenny Britt for a third of that
And the Pats actually have Britt for about $1.5M - roughly 20% of what Nelson is costing for 1 year.
Lets not pretend like that Brady extension wont eventually happen. That being said I also dont think there will be anything fancy.. hopefully at least Vaccaro.. Mathieu will remain a pipedream. Just bad timing.
Thomas at his best is a terrific safety. But a 1st and a 3rd, maybe more? If the Seahawks get that it would be a major robbery.Ha! “1st & 3rd.....maybe more?” I’m gonna love watching the coaching staff that gives up all of that for a safety to be run out of town at the end of the season. GTFO with that nonsense.
