I mean, anyone who joined up/started following the team during this dynasty run could be called a "bandwagoner" of sorts. I joined the board the year before the XLIX win, I think it was. Up to the Patriots but he still has $4M they could get back if they chose to if he retired.

(They'd save $10M in salary if he retired. That could range from $8M to $12M depending on whether they let him keep the full signing bonus or not).
