not even close

They reviewed the play when the game ended, that’s how controversial it was. Both commentators thought both calls were wrong.

It’s exactly close. It decided the game.

Serioulsy, wtf cou
Maybe you should become a coach then.

I mean if you think you have a better handle on this than BB who saw Butler in practice for an entire year while you only saw game action then you should really think about it.

I am sure whatever happened with Butler will come out eventually. Until then I will go with the opinion of the GOAT coach.
WTF could possibly justify benching him for the entire game on D but having him play special teams? Having trust in a great coach is one thing, but if Butler really did something heinous, he wouldn't have been dressed or playing special teams. I was a huge IBBIT guy, but I simply can't imagine a schenario where it makes any sense not giving Butler any snaps in the superbowl when Rowe and Richards are playing like ****e. Had Butler not been playing on special teams, there would be plausible explanations. I hold out hope that there is some bizarre explanation beside ego that would explain it, but his playing special teams makes that extremely remote.

I couldn't stand to watch any post game stuff, so can you please tell me what makes you say this?
He seems pissed. Either at the defense, or Butler not playing or Belichick, who knows what I'm just speculating, usually he's got the composed face on. He doesn't have it this time.

Refs should call the game the way they call it all year.

And maybe throw a flag for the offensive holding that directly led to a 30 yard completion and 7 more points.

We lost cause defense played the worst game in Superbowl history. But it would be nice to know how it would of unfolded if it was called like it should have been
I've accepted that they'll call things looser but a blatant hold that prevents a sack and leads to a bit completion needs to be called 100% of the time. Also 3 O-Line moving before the snap and never resetting needs to be called as well. No wondering the Eagles gamble since apparently it's a great way to tilt the calls in your favor.

It’s clear that Brady wins the brady vs belichek argument. All Tom needed was a little help from bill and josh and he got none. The jag philosophy while successful in other years came to roost this year. Rowe, Richards Roberts are an abomination to be playing with the goat.
With that said, there’s no other coach / quarterback id rather bave than Tom/ bill. Go pats

I am heart-broken, but I gotta be a man in defeat, it was a great game. Congrats to Philly. We will be back next year.

Still and will always love my Pats.

What bothers me is that as bad as the eagles D was they were able to make one critical stop and they pats could not. Pats D has so many chances to end that game. Instead every single third down the eagles completed a pass for a first.
Game reminded me of BC Miami in 84 Flutie Hail Mary

Could care less if Eagles got questionable calls. It goes both ways. Defense had plenty of time to play good football and they didnt.

Tom Brady is the greatest football player ever, played a game for the ages and it's too bad these coaches and defenders were so f'n terrible tonight. **** the bed bad. I'll take it to my grave had Butler started and played the whole game the Pats would of won tonight. Instead I expect to find some nonsense petty reason why he didnt play. Butler with a drop dead fever of a 108 is better than anyone they could of put it in there.

Hats off to the Eagles for exposing this Butlerless team and for giving Agholor the game of his life.

Offensive line played pretty good as a whole. Only giving up the one strip that counted big time. Overall though I thought they gave Brady the time he needed to be great for most of the game. Gronk with great 2nd half and Hogan put together a good game with Amendola chipping in. RBs were solid. A+ for offense that was handicapped by questionable playcalling in the first half.

Gilmore is freaking awesome and I've never been more excited about a cb going into next season as I have for him. Lights out the last few games and kudos for a great game tonight.

Again I find it so hard to believe most of the damage tonight was to Butlers replacements. Over and over again. Special teams accounted for 4 points.

Got Hightower and Edelman coming back as well as rookie first rounder Rivers so team instantly improves day 1. Get help in free agency and draft to fix this putrid 3rd down defense and they may get another shot.

Disappointed not enough of a description tonight.

You have to credit their offensive line. Our D-line put zero pressure on Foles .

Reporters are asking Gronkowski if he's going to retire and Gronk says he's going to evaluate things over the next couple weeks.

BB was was too busy hanging out at the basketball games then on a game plan

Pats gave up 41 points.

In a game where 32 would of won it.

If you can't stop a team from scoring 32 points with 2 weeks to prepare you just don' have it.

And frankly neither did the eagles. They just had a bit more.

Time to go to bed, this loss sucks but take a step back to realize how good we have it as Patriot fans, sorry for being optimistic, maybe this loss will get rid of some of these so called fans around here...
