Post Game Thread- Super Bowl Edition

I was watching the game with a few people and when the pats went up by a point no one cheered because we knew full well the D was coming back on the field.

I knew their o-line was going to give us problems. The eagles won the game in the trenches.

I dont think so. They won the game on third down because a) their deep shots (which are low percentage) worked out, b) we lacked a lot of speed at LB level and they exploited that and finally c) because they tackled and executed where we did not.

They simply made more plays in the game..

Belechick had two weeks to prepare the defense and this us what we got.

There is NO bright side in this loss. Zero. You can't take these SB appearances for granted, especially with Tom on the wrong side of 40. He played one of the best games of his life tonight and was let down in an absolutely epic way. This one hurts bad. Real bad.

I by no means watch the all22 like some posters but to me McCourty gets way too high of praise for BB than what I see on tv. To me he’s an ok safety but in no way is elite. He looked to be the culprit on the clement td

What bothers me is that as bad as the eagles D was they were able to make one critical stop and they pats could not. Pats D has so many chances to end that game. Instead every single third down the eagles completed a pass for a first.

Gotta hand it to the Eagles, they played amazing. First coach that hasn’t shyt himself against Belichick. They deserve it.

Can’t rely on Brady to bail us out over and over again. Guy was superhuman tonight but he can only do so much.

That fourth down play sure was asking for it. If that stupidity turns out the way it normally does, this is a completely different game.
