oh god

millennials just need to learn to cut and paste and understand what a primary source means

lmao
Eh, I’d assume most people that are passionate enough fans to post on a fan forum would either follow guys like rap/schefty or enough guys that will retweet them. Could post the link to the tweet here, but just saying I’d expect everyone here to be able to see the validity of the rumor within a few seconds

He complains about millennials so much I think he has a fetish.

The good news is the Chiefs are going with an unproven QB, the better news is Smith isn't going to Buffalo or Jax. A button down no nonsense understands the clock coach like Marrone or McD could do a lot with Alex Smith. One of them crippling their cap for seat-of-the-pants Cousins doesn't concern me anywhere near as much.

$100 elway wildy overspends on cousins

Smith will be receiving a 4-year contract extension with this as well.

This is good news for the Pats.

Agreed, despite Smith's obvious limitations, I think they are not a playoff team without him in 2018 and don't see Mahomes ever justifying his 1st round selection.

I'd prefer for Cousins to end up in the NFC, as he'd be a huge upgrade on either the Broncos/Jaguars who could be a QB away from reaching the next level.

That being said, that game in 2016 where all Cousins had to do was beat the Giants (who were locked in their seed for playoffs) in Week 17 at home yet failed (throwing the game losing INT, to boot) really told me all you need to know about him. He had a $100 million+ dollar contract lined up on a silver platter for himself and couldn't get it done.

Just heard Charlie Casserly on NFL Network about this. He thinks Smith will be a good fit in Gruden's offense for the 'Skins, plus he saves them something like $14 million compared to what Cousibs would cost, so a lot of help on cap space. He thought Denver made sense for Cousins, did not mention Jax at all.

Well this came out of nowhere. I knew KC was planning on trading him but didnt expect it this quickly. I have no idea what Washington is thinking with this.

good move for both sides
the year of the QB officially begins..
not bad for Pats QB interest as well

What happens if Elway trades for Grap a first and Niners sign Cousins.
Or Niners Sign Cousins and Jags Broncos or Jets sign Grap that would suck.

I always thought the focus was suppose to be the Super Bowl and teams weren't allowed to make trades until next Monday.

KC not having Mahomes on the bench means one less team looking to grab a QB in the draft.

That means that, in this deal, the Patriots may well end up a bigger winner than the Redskins.
