Makes to much sense Belichick and Kelly are very good friends.
Pederson has been running a variation of Kelly's offense for Foles where he thrived.
Kelly certainly has a Axe to grind the way Philly kicked him to the curb.
So every little secret that Nick told Chip his wants homes dreams and desires.
Bill will find out and then use one or Two things nobody is thinking about to make Foles look like the backup option he is.

Why? There's a lot of tape on Foles and he's got Ernie Adams and the rest of the coaching staff on the case.

Ernie Adams was around in 2001, the Pats had played the Rams that year, but Belichick still consulted with Nick Saban on how to stop St. Louis

Man. I’m pretending that Belichick and our coaching staff driving to upstate New York to meet in a secret bunker with Chip Kelly, Saban, Meyer, etc, formulating a masterplan and all laughing their asses off.

My guess is the book on Foles is going to be much like the book on every pocket passer. Take away the run. Take away his favorite receiving target. Don’t get gashed for long touchdowns.

Youre assuming he doesnt already have the book on Foles

I'm just glad that Foles isnt a running QB. for some reason against running QB's bill goes all conservative playing backed off receivers and not rushing the passer. We've seen it against Geno smith...he did the same thing to Bortles until they realized they needed to make him uncomfortable and started rushing 5.

With a purely pocket passer the patriots usually are abit more agressive on defense.

And I think he'll also consult Saban on defending the RPO. Not to oversimplify but Saban typically counters RPO by rotating a safety into the box post-snap and send the will back into zone.

It's important for us to stop the RPO because it sets up Philly's vertical game.

You mean the Evil Dr. Penguin?

15 hours watching Foles tape or 15 minutes talking to Chip.
If you're Bill Belichick, the answer is "all of the above, and probably more."

I just hope the Pats come out smokin on Offense and make Foles play Ketchup....
