JIm Nantz (crescendo): And now let's give the trophy to the one .. Bill Belichick!

Kraft gives the trophy to BB. BB doesn't want to deal with it, immediately gives it away before making it to microphone. He's not having it. He's like take that thing away from me. Not Done.
___

But yes he can, he can celebrate great plays, winning play.

Congrats to the Master of the game. Hope he could enjoy it for those few seconds . with this game becoming rapidly a distant past for this unique man..

A masterful game.

SnapShot of that one second of celebration..
(he looks like he's already too long in the huggle)

Yes the execution was not on the level in the first half, yes Jags played very sound on the field, some great play calling as well . but this game form the first minute felt like a TRAP . BB set up for Jacksonville and there would be no way for Bortles and co. to avoid it..

When Reiss posted this

I wanted to send him a note, Mike, this is not what you post before the end of the game.

Everybody can know 2nd half is another game . esp. against BB. Its not just the adjustments, its the situational football extraordinaire and mental game that BB embraces, comprehends and creates so geniously..

yep, scared of the hoodie (and Tommy as well of course..)

That was one situation where BB's presence was felt . before that Jags wanted to run down the clock to 2-min warning in the middle of what they though was the final drive of the half but then BB took the timeout (you could see some confusion in Jags players there for a sec.)

He's just winning these situational games, mind games in demonic fashion..

Somehow, in a crazy way. BB is actually underrated. He never wins any personal awards (considering all the times he deserved to be coach of the year or even executive of the year).

He is winning at an absurd clip in an age of caps and free agency. He is finding guys like RJF & Harrison at the last minute and they are contributing. He wins. In the end, that is what counts the most.

He KNOWS every player . that's why he can always find them

Here's Harrison's celebration . less than 10 hours after AFCCG finished:

While head coach of the NEP BB has won 27 and lost 9 in "The Tournament", that is a .750 winning record on the biggest stages...

Passing the trophy is symbolic, did not come this far for a participation award.... Nice to see Linda Holliday by his side.

Brady has got to get Harrison to CA for the off season, reduce the heavy weights and focus on flexibility, quickness, and reaction time. It could actually give the guy another productive year.

He won’t rest or celebrate until he gets that lombardi

This reaction is so great. You know he's running through all the scenarios in his head: We're gonna run, we're probably not getting a first down. We'll punt, what's the punt play going to be? Then they'll have roughly this field position with no timeouts and 1:30, so we'll play defense this way. Then the run happens, they get the first down, and all that clears out of his head to make room for celebration. Great stuff!
