BREAKING: Brady complained to "Patriots staffer" that Belichick has not once given him an award which does not exist and thus has never been awarded to anyone.

I asked earlier in the thread.....what do you get for winning a supposed Patriot of the Week award? Free dinner at Davios? Free MRI at Shields? Free pizza at Papa Ginos?

If Yee is ethical, and I have no reason to believe he isn’t, he compartmentalizes Brady and Garoppolo into separate cases.

Regarding Garoppolo, he needs to see what Jimmy wants. By all accounts, what Jimmy wants more than anything is to play. As such, an extension in NE is a non-starter.

I view Yee as being near a conflict of interest between his two clients. If he knows something about player B through his representation of player A, he's in the ethical dilemma of having a duty to inform player B and while also keeping the confidence of player A. Impossible to do both = conflict, unless Player B accepts the representation knowing that the conflict is present.

He's already weighed in on the matter, what are you suggesting he should prove? Prove that their relationship is fractured? You can't prove made-up ********. How is he going to prove that their relationship is fine? They've already adamantly stated it's fine, and he reported that. How to you prove someone's relationship is strong beyond what they've already adamantly stated? Particularly two people as generally private as professional as Brady/Belichick
I'm not asking to prove a negative if there relationship is in fact fine which I assume it is then it shouldnt be that hard to write an article citing evidence of this truth.

Get some quotes from people about how the interacted at some recent gala (Christmas or Halloween party).

Do they still meet every Tuesday to go over game plan like they've spoke about doing in the past.

Quotes from Brady, Bill, and Krafts.

Ask if there is a contract extension for either or both Bill and Brady.

I'd think if I had the access Reiss has this story would write itself.

I try not to judge people by their looks, but Wickersham looks like Gollum with a wig made of pubes.

Even if the award did exist, the thought that Brady would be offended that he doesn't receive it is laughable. The guy has 5 Super Bowl rings, multiple league and Super Bowl MVP awards, and is the current face of the "GOAT EDITION" of Madden. Why the hell would he be miffed over some weekly team award? Can one man get more recognition in the NFL than what Brady has already received?

That's right. He's had almost 2 full years since he was given irrefutable proof that his employer has less integrity than a submarine with a screen door and he's still there. Sounds like someone who doesn't give a **** about their own integrity to me.

He's probably enjoying playing the "good cop" role, and laughing all the way to the bank when his defenders click on his pre-approved tripe.

This is dumb. "Good cop role". Give me a break.

Where do you work? The Red Cross?

The Patriot of the Week award is a real thing.

Last time it was given out was by George Washington in 1787.

I have to keep calling these complaints out about "anonymous" sources out. Without anonymous sources their could be no real investigative reporting. That said, I think this story is just flat out speculation by whichever anonymous source it is. Good sources are most often also anonymous as well.

Reading comprehension is clearly a liability for you.

And even with all those rewards and awards, he still thinks he is overlooked because he was pick 199. We have seen all the docuseries..."Brady 6" and all that. He will never get over that fact. So for him to be upset about one little "award" would fly in the face of everything we have known about him for 17 years.

Actually just found this leaked footage of Seth reporting on his Friday nights as a kid. As we can all see he stands by his reporting.

He's likely working on something like that now. He's already run a statement from Brady/Belichick/Kraft, and it can be reasonably assumed that he's working on his own take/response to this story.

Which may take a little bit of time, for a number of reasons including:

And this also brings us back to square one: whatever Reiss eventually runs with, it will be meticulously sourced and vetted. If people are willing to go on the record, he'll go with them over anonymous sources that may or may not have their own agendas. Which means he's not going to get the hot takes that clowns like Wickersham are getting, and may even seem like moderated takes compared to the crap we're used to. Which isn't him being a bad journalist, it's him being a responsible journalists.
