They made their beds...Just can't win sometimes with this fanbase.
Happy for Gronk, sad for our salary cap.
Brady also made the AP team.
On a more substantial news note today..
I don't think any incentive that is earned can be viewed negatively on the cap. It was investment well spent. I would prefer they would do these things after the real end of the season bc the real games are yet to be played and reg. season means only so much. This situation allows the worst case scenario where you lose both cap and the player..
In any case, well deserved by Gronk, congrats and don't spend it all on one party!
btw - With alternative being another deluge of “Something is rotten in the state of Foxboro“ articles about Gronk not being targeted/played vs Jetes to avoid the pay . I think this is a pretty good outcome for our sanity as well..

Damnnnnnn....Brady only has 3 more First Team All Pro awards and Super Bowl rings than Jimmy Garoppolo? Jimmy G is breathing down his neck right now. He better be worried.
Where are you seeing the full AP team? I can’t find it.Brady got 47/50 votes for that AP spot which essentially guarantees him the MVP as well.
Looks like Slater might also be in. He was second in votes for ST.
