College Football Playoff

How about clemson? I think that d line will give bama all they can handle.
Clemson has the best shot, but Saban has had weeks to prepare and this isn’t the same Clemson team from 2016.

This is just my opinion, not saying it's going to happen. I think Mayfield will be at least a decent QB in the NFL

Because Vegas didn't seed the teams.
Hah yeah I get that, but someone outta be overrated here if they are more than a field goal favorite. I’m not a college guy so I have no idea.

Why is Bama #4 but is -3.5?
A lot of pundits didn’t think they even deserved to get in since they played a really weak schedule, lost their last game, and didn’t even win their conference. But the alternative was a two loss Ohio State team. They’re favored because they’re the most talented team in the tournament that simply lost a game at the wrong time of the year. They’re also going into this game with a very bad taste in their mouths from Clemson beating them last year and Saban’s record in “revenge games” speaks for itself.

Hmm...should I take the -.3.5? Or maybe just the money line?

Remember the line is not always what Vegas think the final score will be. They will adjust it depending on who they think the majority are going to bet their money on.
They want equal amounts of money bet on both sides.

I don’t bet on football, but I’d just take the money line against Clemson if I did.

Different standards.
#4 (should be 5) is based upon assessing their play this season.
-3.5 is based upon gamblers expectation of this game.

It’s not at all based on Vegas’ opinion of final score. It’s 100% based upon getting even money on both sides. Vegas wil NEVER try to predict an outcome and outsmart the bettors.

That was some terrible route running by Michel.

This is going to get out of hand quickly.

If this were a regular season game I’d take Clemson in a heartbeat, they are better. But since it’s the champ round and they beat saban last year, I wouldn’t bet against saban.

Smith has been getting a lot of hype. The Georgia LB. He hasn't looked good in this game.

Lorenzo Carter, I love the guy. If he is there when we are drafting we take him no matter what. He’s unreal. He’s been my number one draft pick through the whole draft!

Georgia needs to keep running the football. Oklahoma hasn’t proven they can stop it.
