Pro Bowl Rosters announced tonight. Who on the Pats get the honors?

Before you say "What's the point when no Pats will be playing in it anyway?" Let me respond by saying no ****. I don't see anything wrong with wanting to see who gets the honors though.

Brady and Gronk are the obvious locks. I think Slater and Ghost both have fairly strong shot for ST spots.

After that I'm not sure if there will be anyone else. I think Shaq Mason could potentially surprise and make it. I thought Cooks had a good shot until Keenan Allen exploded over the last few weeks, so not sure if there's a spot for him. Maybe David Andrews? But the spots will be scarce.

On defense, I could see D-Mac, and maybe Malcolm Butler both having shots but that's it.

Overall we will probably not have the most nominations this year. Thoughts?

I'd be happy for him, although a bit disappointed none of those others I mentioned made it.

Develin is worthy. In the last three years, the only season that didn’t end with a SB victory was the season he went on IR. Just sayin.

I love Slater, but this year wasn't a Pro Bowl year. Ah well. At least it will strengthen his Hall of Fame bid one day, looking at all those consecutive Pro Bowl nods.

I'd also argue that Green made it over Cooks on reputation.

The fact that he didn't make it or the fact that he's sharing how mad he is on social media? I'm not sure how to feel about this. Did he have an incentive to make it? If not then ya he should keep his feelings to himself. If yes then I can see why he might be a bit perturbed.

I think Cooks was deserving, but if you look at everyone ahead of him, who do you take out?

As for DMac, I think the D's performance early in the year did him in. I think he's deserving, but there are only three spots for safeties.

I think the main snub was Shaq Mason. 3 Raiders O-linemen making it tell you that this was just a popularity contest. The Raiders O-line blew chunks this year.
