Bademosi Needs More PT

Its the deepest area of the team and a good problem to have. I really like J Jones too and would have liked to have seen him out there more than Richards.

On the other hand, the LB's are their weakest area of depth. Harris can't run, Roberts is streaky. Really need Van Noy back and healthy.

Some might view the DL as weak but I really like it. Guy, Butler and Wise don't get a lot of media attention but I think they are very solid and flexible.

Does anyone else think Bademosi needs to be on the field more?

As badly as Rowe played through parts of that game yesterday and since he's been back, it's a wonder that Bademosi isn't at least pushing him for snaps.

I was more surprised that Rowe seemed to be playing the slot ahead of Jones.

Perhaps attempting to match up better with the Steelers' taller pass-catchers? Also, perhaps partly to get a read on Rowe's playoff readiness (coming off his injury) with a full game under pressure?

This is the time of the season when BB & MP often seem to provide significant game reps to a lot of different DBs when they can, presumably to enhance their playoff readiness. We might see a surprising amount of Bademosi and/or JJ this game or in the regular season finale to help prep them.

In some ways, these last two games may be a bit like the end of the pre-season. It kinda is the "pre-season" for the playoffs.

Treating weeks 16/17 like the preseason is how you finish with yet another 12-4 record and 2 seed (the Patriots version of "8-8 ********").

I think a lot probably had to do with match-ups. But maybe they want to keep Bademosi fresh for playoffs. I think him, Rowe, and JJ each bring a little something different to the team. A good problem to have.

Hence the qualifiers "when they can" and "kinda".
