I've read his statement and he apologiezed to the owner, and players, but not the fans.

The fans will be kissing his grave in 2525. He owes the fans an apology like he owes you a steak dinner.

And he will owe more apologies to his bosses and fellow employees. He owes nothing to the fans. Kraft and Stacey will make whatever statements are needed to the fans.

I voted no as well, I was just curious what other people thought.
Even if we had a steak dinner, I'm sure he wouldn't say much.

i'd like a steak dinner

filet please

au poivre...medium rare...

but i have neither need nor interest in an apology

If you read his statement, then I can only conclude one of two things about you. Either you don't understand what the following words mean:
Bill Belichick said:
"Although it remains a league matter, I want to apologize to everyone who has been affected, most of all ownership, staff and players," Belichick said. "Following the league's decision, I will have further comment."

Or you feel that you, personally, need to be addressed by Belichick.

In both cases, you'd be wrong. The FANS would fall under EVERYONE in this situation.

no apology....just a win on sunday night

I say NO because we don't know the ins and outs of being a head coach of an NFL team. For all we know this could be a standard thing in the NFL that goes unspoken but Mangini being in the pressure cooker called New York city he possibly got frustrated and ratted out Belichick. None of us really know so thats just my take.

What if his statement was...

and he left out ownership, do think kraft would be OK with that, and say to himself well ownership falls under everyone affected.

I don't think so.

Then why did he apologize to the owner, and player?

He should apologize to me for having to deal with all these drama queens masquerading as Pats fans.

Then why did he apologize to the owner, and player?

Because of the media circus that this has become. Because, for other teams, it would normally be a distraction.

I don't care what you think, in all honesty. You clearly believe that YOU deserve an apology and you don't. Last I looked, BB's paycheck is signed by KRAFT. So, its logical to include him. Last I looked, it was not YOUR signature nor my signature on BB's paychecks.

The FANS are not on equal standing with ownership. And that is what you fail to acknowledge. Either that, or you think that the fans ARE on standing as ownership. And then you'd just be delusional.

If you don't think this is a distraction for this team then you know nothing about football, or you really like your kool-aid.

In Green Bay that would hold true. Like I said i voted no, just cuz I'm confused about your "logic" doesn't mean I think he owes us an apology.
Read the whole thread next time so you know what the hell your talkin about.
Your starting to make as much sense as Pete Sheppard.

BS - the fans are the only reason any of them have jobs. In any business, the customer is the most important part.

He already apologized to the fans. Time to move on and whip the Chargers.
