NFL Week 14 Games

In theory but he doesn't have s lot to work with over there

Yeah I think it will average out over the next few games.. who knows.. maybe they will put up 14 more points today.

In the games he has played SF has scored 15 point and right now they have 16. You would think good QB play would bump them up 4-5 PPG.

I am no expert on any of that but this essentially means just one more redzone trip turning into a TD instead of a FG. That doesnt sound like much. Intuitively I would say it should be at least double of that if you upgrade the QB substantially.

Kai Forbath just kicked it into the Cheerleader formation.

Viking miss a FG... FG kicker slipped. One of those games where nothing goes right for you. I will be interested to see how they respond next week or if they cant have a surge at the end even if they fall short.

Championship teams need to be able to break bad momentum in a game at some point.

We legitimately traded a top 10 QB but had no choice obviously. Rest of the NFC sleeping at the trade deadline.

Touchdown SF...Jimmy looking good

I think Colin Cowherd said it best about the Packers: They aren't an elite franchise. Popular? Certainly. Google it and he's spot on. I can't add the link here.

I still think the Chiefs are a mess. It's just the Raiders are a bigger mess. Neither of those teams are going anywhere.

Vikings: I'll repeat it 100 times: you aren't getting to a SB with Keenum. I said it during their win streak.

Well depends. Keep in mind that the top offenses score about 30PPG... the worst score about 16PPG

So there is a 14 point difference from best to worst (or 2 TDs about) in most years.

The worst offenses have trash QBs (pretty much JAGs) bad weapons and bad OL play.

The best offenses tend to have good QB play, good OLs and good weapons.

Lets assume a good QB like Brady/Rodgers is worth 7-8 points above a JAG QB player. That would mean the OL and weapons(the other 10 guys) are only worth 7-8 points above a bottom barrel NFL starting offense

Vegas tends to put Brady at about 7-8 points I think. That is fair I think.

Gronk is one of the highest non QB point increase player BTW.

One of those rare cases where the player had all the leverage in terms of trading partner as well. Don Yee and Jimmy knew that the Pats cant afford to franchise him so he could just veto trades to garbage teams by saying he wont sign an extension with them thereby depressing his trade value.

Overall I still think BB & Caserio handled it well by pushing the decision on him as far as they could. Nobody could have predicted how Brady would look..

Not arguing it is wrong but thinking about it as two extra conversions of FGs into TDs just makes it sound like not that much of a difference. Interesting...

If Pagano has a single hair on his nutsack, he'll go for 2

This snow game just HAS to go overtime doesn't it?

Brissett converts the 2 pointer to his tight end. Clots lead 8-7! 1:16 left in the game.

Edit: OPI on the clots, 10 yard penalty. BS Penalty, that's not OPI. It's within 1 yard of LOS.

The sweet irony Jacoby Brissett getting the two points that will give the Patriots the AFC East title.
