League Gives Gronk & Brady an Extra Yard

I was updating the stats last night and noticed a discrepancy after checking the numbers as Brady's passing yards and Gronk's receiving totals were off by one yard.

It appears the league made a correction sometime after Tuesday of last week:





The league tends to review film and make changes later, and this appears to be the first of 2017. But otherwise, all the remaining totals appear to be accurate. '

However, there's also a directional total that suddenly doesn't match on the opponent's stats - but I haven't been able to find that one yet. I'll have to keep digging.

I'm still waiting for HGH Sexual predator to be docked several passing yards for a lateral in 2013. Brees should hold the record for most yards in a season. What a corrupt ****ing league!

Another insteresting note, the field goal length by Gostkowski didn't change though, it stayed at 62yds.

This is one situation where I wish the pats took a 5 yard delay of game penalty and give ghost the opportunity to kick a 67 yarder, which would have been the league record (currently at 64 yards). When are the pats going back to mexico city and play in that kind of altitude? Probably never.

In the Belichick Breakdown from the Oakland game BB said that based on some work they did in Colorado Springs that Gost's range was up over 70 yards at that altitude.

No, but a few years ago a stats adjustment did cost me a game the next day...on Jared Allen having a sack taken off his scoresheet. Damn league with IDP.

Pretty much. I've been forced to give up actual yards and go with fantasy yards as a result of the cost-of-living rising so much.

I have to imagine you're kidding here because that would be crazy if one yard made the difference.

I did have a similar story in 2006. The Pats were playing the Broncos on Sunday Night football and I need Ben Watson to score x points. I watched the game, didn't think I got it, but when I went online the next day I noticed I got the win. Fast forward to later in the week I had a loss.

What happened? On gameday one of Daniel Graham's catches was incorrectly recorded as a Ben Watson catch. The stats were updated mid week and like that my victory became a loss.

There was a similar stat correction in 2014 in which Jonas Gray's 199 yard performance against the Colts changed to a 201 yard game.

Two yards is two yards, but reaching the 200 yard mark does seem significant.
