I'll be serious for once. Is Freeney the kind of guy who even when playing a role follows the discipline in assignment that the Pats want in a defensive player? I have no idea, but lack of such could be a disqualifier.

Please. Don't be serious. The board has too much seriousness already.

As a seven time Pro Bowler, three time first team All Pro, and a 3 down starter...I'm betting he can follow a game plan. Besides, at this stage in his career, his assignment will be as a Kill the QB specialist

If he could do what Chris Long did last year, it would be enough.

Suck the balls?

That's what I'm curious about. Sacks are overrated. One sack a game doesn't change a game but if he can maintain the edge and push the pocket consistently then sign him and the occasional sack is a bonus.

I'm not sure Freeney is a 3 down player anymore.

My opinion only. But a sack specialist isn't worth the roster spot.
