I like Karras there. This is ok if it's not a long-term thing.

Wow, I had no idea that he hasn’t allowed a single pressure in 4 straight games. Very impressed. Love his improvement.

Greg A. Bedard on Twitter

“C David Andrews, who hasn't allowed a pressure in 4-straight games and has 3-straight clean sheets, is out vs. OAK. Steady Teddy Karras in the lineup baby!”

Should be interesting, we've had the same interior line starting the whole year....I think overall, they have played really well. I think Karras will step in...From what I've seen of him in preseason, I've been pretty impressed....

Who do you think should take Andrew's spot at center?

New England Patriots injury news: Two starting offensive linemen ruled out Sunday vs. Raiders

The New England Patriots will be without two starters on the offensive line when they face the Oakland Raiders in Mexico City.

Right tackle Marcus Cannon (ankle) and center David Andrews (illness) have been ruled out.

I prefer to leave as many spots unchanged, so I say Karras, with no technical expertise or video study to back up that opinion. Any technical guys want to opine?

Oldrover beat me to OP. @mods, you can merge if you want.

Must be in concussion protocol...

Man, what the hell happened to Andrews, looked happy and healthy during the post game celebration.

Sounds like he caught the flu.....

What the ****, "illness"? did Andrews catch a case of leprosy or something? WTF...

Interesting dilema. They will both play, they both play well both positions.

Pro Karras @C:
1. If you put Karras to guard you change two positions instead of just one which is against Dante's main principle of least moving parts (unless you're forced to)
2. Thuney is rated among top LGs in the league and Thuney-Solder combo is glueing and improving.

Pro Thuney @C:
1. Center is “green dot“ position; arguably requires more experience,
Thuney has more experience on the line which probably puts him in better position for playcalling, be comfortable on hard count etc.

Id start w Karras and if there are communication problems change the two on the fly..

Agree..Karras at Center unless he is really bad ....( which I doubt)

I think he just has some flu and is depleted.
