Can someone help me? Seriously - I seem to never hear about this crap until it's already over. What's a good way for someone in the US who doesn't follow the regular season to know when there's a big event coming? I wish I could get a freaking email alert or something, cause I would have loved to have watched this.

Something seemed to change when barzalgi came out. I mean juve just looked like a completely different team in the second half and Real took advantage of that. Poor balls and poor runs. I'd like to believe that Real isn't that much better than juventus.

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Dybala, and Higuain were especially guilty of this in a game where Juventus could ill afford it.

The BBC website is good. Its sports section will always have a lot of stories under "football" anticipating upcoming games (though usually only a few days in advance, of course).

Genuinely, until Messi came along, I thought I'd never see a better player. Every time he stepped onto the pitch it was a blessing for the fans. An utter genius.
Wash away all the other stuff.. ZIDANE IS THE MAN!!

Not sure why dybala was taken off and not higuain. Atleast dybala was giving his all. But he did not play well. I give a lot of credit to Real. But I don't think juve is anywhere near as bad as Real made them look in the 2nd half.

This is a sports forum

Why is soccer being discussed
It's a football forum. Guess what they call soccer outside of North America? No, not Nascar.

look up dates ahead of time?

The problem is I don't even know these things are happening. There's got to be a good international sports site out there with notifications, etc.

Adopt one of those English Hooligans and bribe him with a 12 pack to keep you in the loop?

Mario Mandzukic! What a goal!

1-1!
Watching on DVR delay. I thought Ronaldo's goal was pretty, with the give and go passing, but Mandzukic, WOW!

BritPat (who knows more about football than I do) thought that the second Ronaldo goal was poor defending by Juve. Seems to me that there's not much you can do about a perfectly-timed run onto a ball at the near post. Great strike.

I mean the biggest tournaments in soccer are probably the World Cup, Euro cup, and champions league. Champions league is over for now. Euro cup isn't for another 3 years (was played last year). And the World Cup group stages start next year. Qualifying is still underway. It would be pretty hard to miss the World Cup and euro cup as those get more attention in this country.

Anything else you missed that you wish you didn't miss

If you don't like it, You don't need to come in here and post. You'd probably embarrass yourself on the pitch. Go away and stop trolling. I find it hilarious when anyone tries to descredit any sport they don't like as not being a sport

Pretty sure he was just kidding.

Real's second goal a bit fortunate, but totally with the run of play. Juve looked old in the 2nd half.

Real Madrid won UEFA in 2014?2016?2017?
Patriots won SB in 2015?2017...then 2018?
They just became the first team ever to repeat as Champions League winners by the way.

I'm not concerned what the irrelevant world calls an irrelevant activity

I never played soccer. Boys played football when I was growing up.

It's a decent activity for children since they develop some motor skills for when they want to get into a real sport. Being bad at soccer is about as important to me as being bad at knitting. I can't imagine caring less.
