I've lived. Three bites into the eating process and the top layer is mysteriously three quarters gone while the bottom layer is still half there. The meat is hanging off of one side, the cheese off the other, the tomatoes always seem to slip out the back and the lettuce is always the only surviving ingredient. How is it that the lettuce, the least desired ingredient, is the only ingredient to not hit the floor?
