Well Danny better be willing to play for the vet min or bye bye :/

This is CRAZY. Slow down BB ! You are gonna choke on your OJ at your age !
do all these moves mean bb is retiring soon? he's throwing around a lot of picks. and i don't get the need for another receiver. and he's only got one year left on his contract.

We keep Butler, this is awesome. I like this trade, but I do not love it. Here are my reaseon

First of all, I think we payed a lot for him. This is a loaded Draft and we lost some important picks.

Secondly, He was complaining in NO for not getting enough attention. BB won't stand that ****

Thirdly, We've seen (good and bad) WRs struggle here. I don't think it will happen (NO had a complex system and he did more than fine).

And lastly, but not least, We only have him for a year in a cheap contract, then we have to activate his option (Big pay increase). Then we have to re-sign him and Star WRs are not cheap. Whoever we would draft would be here for 5 years (at best)

In any case, the good points are much more important than the bad ones. And Butler stayed. He is a very good player on an excellent

We don't know if they will trade jimmy. I would like to see them make another nov on the DL. Odrick

It is a steep price and there's always the worry if receivers can pick up this offense. But good god, is he fast. Looks like he's flying out there. What's his 40 time?

Gronkowski
Cooks
Mitchell
Edelman (slot)
Lewis

vs.

Moss
Gaffney
Welker (slot)
Watson
Faulk

Fully healthy, it doesn't seem close...this is unbelievable

Rap emphasizes in this tweet and live on NFL Network that Cooks wants an extension. Hopefully he won't be pressing for one this off-season or next, and simply plays out his contract + the 5th year option (~$8.5-9M per). Would the Pats really pay a WR $14M+ per year when it's time?

Honestly, who cares. I'm fine if he pulls a Revis, helping us win a Super Bowl and then cashing out elsewhere.

BB is all-in for 1 more ring and I love it!

Jesus, I can't believe it really happened.

I'm totally behind it though. Cooks is going to be great in NE's offense... I think Hopkins may be better but Cooks' speed is going to kill defenses.

How do you cover Cooks going deep, Edelman intermediate, Gronk down the seam and Allen short, and Dion/White as the checkdown? What defense can match up with this?

He has two years. They could pick up his option.

So, what exactly goes through your mind when you're a young, budding receiver and you get the call that you'll be catching passes from the GOAT? Brews is great and all, but TB12 is TB12, nonetheless.

Im glad I was right about this and they had the balls to pull it off.
When BB was praising his skill and glossing about him in joint practices I was thinking what if.

To me, the last time we won the offseason was before the 07 season and almost went 19-0. I think BB wants to go 19-0 before he retires. Just my dumb ass opinion after 10 beers. Lol

Now 12 beers and a few shots
