Watch out for the Mack and Julio " Injuries". Atlanta may want the Patriots to try something different with them " injured" and take advantage.

In other words, Atlanta could be leaking false information so we concentrate more on someone else and thus they " expose" us.
Yeah.
I'm sure Belichick would never think that they might try something like that.

When do we find out the actives/inactives?

According to NFL Network Patriots expect Brady to play for 3-5 more years with a possible contract extension after next season, bye Jimmy.
Wow! But it is NFLN, so I'll wait to hear it from Reiss.

Okay, definitely more believable now. I guess they leaked this amid all the "Brady might walk away if he wins" stuff. It even had me pondering the possibility.

What if after they win and Brady wins MVP, they just do it after that? Could be interesting.

My two weeks of SB thoughts have been consolidated and ready for release to the eager public....here goes.
This game is a lay up for BB and company. Booommmmmmmm!

Essentially, NE is playing the Cincinnati Bengals without the quality defense....and BB and company always handle Cincinnati and their big WR-centric offense with ease. And given Atlanta's anemic defense, especially compared to the stud-centric core players on Cincy's D, I fully expect Brady and company to have their way. I expect NE will minimize Jones impact, like AJ Green. And I expect Ryan to wither once the pressure of the moment arrives.
In the end, which team can make more stops with its defense?...no question....it is NE....and Party time will begin in the middle of the third quarter. Brady will have his best SB ever because he has never had to face such a soft defense. Atlanta ain't playing New Orleans.
This is a mismatch. And I'm serious

What good is keeping Hopkins if you can't find someone to get the ball to him? Lol

Average QBs like Hoyer or Fitzpatrick were able to make it work with him. Who knows what happens this offseason and their TC with Savage/Osweiler.

It's better to have some option on offense than none and put all your eggs into the D basket.

As a Patriots fan would you prefer a blowout or close game? Seriously some I've spoken too would prefer a blowout to enjoy the game more.

Its the Bengals with considerably better coaching/playcalling though. Not playing old Marv here..

According to Reiss, 7 inactive players announced 90 minutes before kickoff. His guesses are:

Floyd, Jones, Coleman, Richards, Waddle, Foster, Brissett.

I'd like to see Floyd play just to have another weapon, big physical WR. Have to think that he doesn't know the offense well enough or have the precise timing you need for Tom.

If he were to play it would probably have to be a handful of designed plays and an extra DB could make all the difference. I'm glad he was able to help in practices by being a stand-in for Julio and hope he sticks around after the season.

My motto is: " If I prepare and expect the absolute worst...it won't hurt as much". If the Patriots win...we celebrate. No lose situation really lol.

Yeah I always wait for Reiss when anyone else has alleged"breaking" Pats news.

But I've heard Mike almost say the same thing before and of course I take TB very seriously when he says he'll play til he's 45. I think 5 more years is realistic.

That's why tho I like JG and JB, I believe the GOATs successor is in high school.
