Excited to see this matchup. Glad to be up against the best NFL franchise in the past 20 years. Gotta beat the best to be the best. This is also one year the super bowl definitely has the 2 best teams in it for certain.

Both teams destroyed the competition in front of them. Number 1 d vs number 1 o. Should be a great game. Ryan and Brady are both playing with surgical precision this year (minus a subpar performance against the Texans).

Bad luck to your team Feb 5th (except with injuries only performance related)

You guys were spared a trip to Dallas. I think if they had survived that game they handle you guys at home.

It is tough not to like the Falcons.

I can see why 95% of the country would be rooting for them.

Everyone wants to see the juggernaut with all the titles get knocked off.

Add to that the Falcons actually are a pretty likable team between Ryan, Jones, and Freeman. Of course, they'd be even more of a Hollywood story if they still had someone like Tony Gonzalez or Steven Jackson, a well established vet still looking for their first ring.

Sorry, I'm selfish. I'll still be rooting for our 5th title even if it's at the expense of denying your team its first.

Should be a good game though.

Welcome to the board. It's good to have fans from the other side here to talk about the game. Many of us have seen a few Falcons games, but I would not claim to be an expert on the players.

Here's hoping for a great game (although I would be equally happy if the Pats engineered a blowout rather than a sphincter clinching 3 point game coming down to the last play, which seems to be the law when the Pats are one of the last two teams standing).

A team that has never won the Super Bowl being quarterbacked by a QB with local ties. An underdog story who has already defeated two darlings of the NFL (Seattle, Green Bay).

OK kid now that you are here you might as well be of some use by answering a few question since most Pats fans don't really know who the Falcons are.

No. A lot are fairweather but the loyal fans are as rabid as they come. It's steadily building loyalty since blank took over as owner. It gets that rep from lack of titles.
2. I'd like to know more about your top 5 DB's and your OL
Jason Collins is a ballhawk. Tends to grab at times n be overanxious but he is a rookie. Similar size and speed to Sherman. Ricardo Allen has been a nice surprise at FS. He's taken a lot of big plays off the board. Robert Alford is hot garbage but has his moments. Keanu Neal is a mean mother****er who sets the tone on d. You'll know his name after the super bowl. Not the greatest in coverage for SS. Brian Poole is the nickel. He's played extremely well in that role. All of them love to hit.

Ol. Only line to have same starting 5 all year. Alex Mack is enough said. Jake Matthews the LT struggles with speed rushers but still performs above average even though I'd consider him the weak point. These guys play extremely well as a unit.
3. After Jones, Saunu, and your RB's who are your other receivers?
Taylor Gabriel a browns cut. Super fast perfect for us in the slot. Makes a lot of big plays when the d shadows Julio too much. Our best screen receiver. Justin hardy is a solid undersized route runner with excellent hands. He's shown some flashes this year but he's the 4th receiver. Aldrick Robinson is probably going to take that 4th slot if hardy isn't careful. He's very quick. Had a 100 yard game when Julio was out. At TE Austin Hooper is nothing special but answers when called upon and will beat you if you forget about him. Doesn't drop anything. Levine toiolo is the other TE a 6'8 monster. Not the most surehanded but an excellent blocker and he usually gets balls when the other team forgets about him. He actually has the highest Ypr on our team. He's very physical.

yes. More than anything I expect the RBS to pick up the slack in the passing game out of the backfield. That includes the best receiving FB in football IMO.

I am a Patriots fan living in Atlanta. The Falcons fans and local sports media has made me HATE the Falcons. If I ever hear the nickname "Matty Ice" again it will be too soon. I am rooting more for a Falcons loss than a Patriots win.
