Thats exactly what I instill in my kids, people laughed when I went back to school in my 30s, but this isn't the America my grandparents grew up in.

Sad isn't it, but people only realise normally when it's too late and get filled with instant regret. Glad you did something about it. Going to university is the key to financial success and an easier life in the future whether some people want to admit or not. Not everyone can get lucky and start google out of a garage.
