Rogue One - New England Patriots playoff video

By the way, "Rogue One" is the best Star Wars movie since "The Empire Strikes Back". I'd definitely recommend everyone go see it while it's in theaters.

I still havent seen it.

That was pretty good, but I actually like to think of the Patriots as the Death Star.

The Death Star is the Jets

Bumbling, overconfident leadership, riddled with design flaws and easily outmaneuvered.

The scene at the end where Vader boards the rebel ship with Leia on it and proceeds to slay about 20+ rebels as he marches down the hallway is maybe one of the single best scenes of the entire franchise.

"Rogue One" actually makes those design flaws purposeful. There is a reason why such a huge flaw is built into it.

Yea I cheated. I know the story. Just don't want to spoil it for other posters.

Really?

So its different than the start of A New Hope? That was a hallway shootout and then Vader waltzs in like hes Jay Z entering a nightclub and starts yelling at people and choking dudes.

No. Leia was originally on the ship that he boarded at the end of "Rogue One". As soon as he boards, she and other rebels get into the smaller ship that he boards at the beginning of "A New Hope" and escape. It leaves off at the first scene of ANH.

Ahhh. My nephew didn't tell me that.

He did call Darth Vader "a serial killer" in this movie.

Pretty accurate. You said he "waltzes" down the hall in ANH. This one is a pure death march.

You better watch it soon before another rats fan spoils it like episode VII.

I had already had that spoiled for me on Facebook. By the time the Jets fan was doing it here, I thought it was pretty comical.

Thats ok. I have zero willpower when it comes to that stuff. I need to know.

Nice.

My nephew has read a few of the books and he said Rogue One is who he really his before, "He started wanting to take Luke to Red Sox games and share a pizza."

That should be Brady's hype video for the playoffs this year.

I get the embrace the hate bit, but the Death Star explodes at the end of the movie, you know.

Yeah there are some flaws in my analogy.

I was going less for the Patriots as Evil Empire, and more for how we have a super weapon that destroys everything in its path without remorse.

When Deion Lewis came back this year, before we lost Gronk, my quote was "Now they will see the power of this fully operational battle station!" Sadly I don't think we ever saw that this year. Could you imagine if had Gronk right now on our offense that just put up 76 points the last two games?
