Here me out here. I would expect us to beat all three, but both Hou and Oak are coming in with major issues at QB.

However, Moore has proven he is no idiot. No, he isn't Marino or Pennington, but he isn't a moron. Couple that with the fact that Maxwell will be back, I think they look more of a complete team than the other two. One we should beat, but not a car crash.

Would you consider Miami more of a threat in Foxboro than the other two?

Because of their QB situation I put OAK at the bottom and maybe MIA/HOU equal as I think HOU has a better D and their coaches know our system inside/out. MIA has good fight in them and Moore is functional.

How he reacts to a mid-January game in Foxboro will be interesting. Hes a West Coast/warm weather QB

Absolutely, if not for a great play by McCourty and McClellin Miami would have made last week's game a lot more competitive. It was starting to get tense up until that point, or at least Miami was gaining the momentum.
I'm also not so sure that we'll be playing Moore again as Tannehill may be back by then.

divisional opponents are always tough and strange things happen. I just dont see miami going into pittsburgh and winning with moore. they would have a chance with tanehill

Um. I suppose 2010 is a good reminder of divisional dangers, but we're talking about the Matt Moore led Dolphins. Let's not give in to the crazy.

You sure we'll be playing Moore again? When does Tannehill come back?

If the Dolphins play the Pats that means they have eliminated the Steelers in Pittsburgh. Bill will treat that with the respect that it should have.

Exactly, and Moore with playing time and starter reps is not much of a drop off from Tanehill.

Dolphins could certainly give the Patriots a much more competitive game than the Raiders. Raiders are using a 3rd string rookie QB and really do not have much defense to speak of.

Texans and Dolphins are probably on equal footing, but I'd give the edge to the Dolphins, simply because they are a division opponent.

However, none of those teams have a chance of beating THIS Patriots team in Foxboro. The place will be rocking on Saturday night and it will probably be quite cold, which will present serious challenges to these three warm weather teams. Nevermind that the Patriots themselves will be ready to play.

"Not this team. Not this team."

They are better than those teams. Hopkins and Cooper are the best single WRs but the Dolphins have the best WR core of the 3 teams. Also give me Ajayi over Miller. The Miami OL is way underrated. Oakland's OL gets talk about a lot which they deserve but Miami is up there. They can run the ball and they have not surrendered a sack with below average QB play in what 6 games?

Miami has one of the best supporting cast around a QB in the NFL right now.

On D they have issues but their pass rush is legit. Our OL didn't make it look so but it is. Their D is at least as good as Oakland's and better I'd say. Houston of course has the much better D but their offense is sluggish and you just need to worry about stopping Hopkins and limiting Miller. Miami forces you to defend more and their OL is better than the Houston OL though not miles ahead.

Miami has explosive STs when neither of those teams do really.

Miami is better than both right now no question in my mind.

Regardless of how good any team is, beating any team 3 times in a year can be a difficult task especially when the 2 teams know each other as well as they do. That being said if the Pats play their A game I don't believe there is any possible way Miami could beat them.

Miami defense allowed the most yards in team history.
They allowed 4.8 per rush and 4100 passing yards and 30 TD passes.
They may be the worst defense in the playoffs.

You should be working for the Boston Media.

Miami is the best of the three but it would have to take the Pats seriously ****ting the bed to lose to them at home. Dolphins have shown they are capable of moving the ball on the Pats defense but they'd have to be clicking on all cylinders. Houston and Oakland? Forget about it.

Of course they're going to be tougher, they have a quarterback.
