That is fair. But I use the word great very spearingly, for example I don't think Rodgers is great. In fact I think he might be one of the most overrated QB's ever. I cringe when I hear people say he is the best QB in the league. He's very good not great.

Stafford's a compiler who's, historically, about as likely to throw his team into trouble as he is to get it out of trouble. He's not the guy you want to take on your team. He's the guy you take when all the guys you really wanted have already been taken.

Depends
Being in the same division as Rodgers is not ideal by any sense.
But having a GM with a good working relationship and having a good to very good QB a under performing defense and a team where the expectations from media won't be superbowl or bust.
Plus you have a shutdown corner,Tavon Wilson at safety who you are familar with.
A group of very good receivers.
It isnt a awful position to be in.
