Week 17 the usual NFL television rules are suspended. Both networks get doubleheaders, televising early and late games. More importantly the blackout rule that does not allow for another game to be televised when the local team is at home is lifted, if I recall correctly.
So (if my memory is correct) that means that in Tampa the Panthers-Bucs will be on Fox, and Dolphins-Patriots on CBS, both in the early time slot.
I'll be on a cruise ship, so they usually show the Miami channels, so either way I should be able to watch it (in the casino), hungover, while playing 3 card poker.
I was on a Disney cruise (Nassau, Castaway Cay) during New Year's last season, and Jesters-Billiards
was shown instead of Pats-Doofins. During the first half of the other game, I was rooting for Beefalo
to win. Then a bunch of ugly, bloated, sunburned Squealers fanboys started arriving at the bar with
their ugly, bloated, sunburned women. So because of their foul, obnoxious presence, during the fourth quarter I started rooting for the Jesters, for all the good it did anyway.
When it comes to fixes against the Pats, Blakeman is at the top the list as far as i'm concerned and he was actually one of the guys that "measured" the AFCC footballs at HT.
