Sure looks like it worked. Another one of the reasons why this team can win a SB w/o gronk. Last year, no blount, no hogan, no mitchell, no bennett,no lewis at playoff time. And yes, the defense is a little better. Gotta give blount big props.

"Hey...

...watch me outrun an entire defense."

He's like an entirely different player this year.

Scar...Blount was doing the same thing last year before he got hurt (less touchdowns). I admit, he does appear a bit quicker. However, we just couldn't run/ pass block last year. That's (Scar) the only difference IMO.

I agree that the offensive line talent and Scarnecchia returning are huge. Dante has turned this line from a team that totally sucked on the road to an asset during road games. They are a pleasure to watch when it comes to running the ball as well.

Blount does seem to get to that second gear faster this year, cool that he was willing to put in the work.

Even though he still has a cheat day now and then

Definitely a different player this season. His running is so deceiving looking like he's stopped for no gain awkward balance but he hits that hole and jukes and has deceptive speed. Having a back like him late in a game when a Def is tired and spent can be huge.

I'll give credit to the players who are making the blocks and of course staying healthy so they can.

It's too bad the pats didn't let him get those late TDs the last few weeks, opting to take a knee instead could keep him from breaking the pats single season rushing TD record

For me it is the deceptive speed he brings for a big man, very impressive.

I'm going to credit Blount for dedicating himself to getting better, but I'm also going to credit the OL and Scar as well as the TEs who can seal off the edge so Blount can kick outside. Team effort.

I was happy with those kneel downs. They allowed me to win Alamo's Predict the score contest and come in 4th the other week.
