NFL Week 14 Games

This isn't right. In order or the Common Opponents tiebreaker to apply, each team has to have a minimum of 4 games against common opponents.

As of right now, December 11, they only have 3 common opponents. Denver is 2-2 and Miami is 1-2. However, since Miami only has 3 games against those common opponents, the entire tiebreaker gets thrown out and we move to the next one.

Of course, once we are done with next week, they get to add NE as a common opponent, which is where Miami becomes 1-3.

Wilson picked ..

It's pretty clear watching this that Wilson struggles more against man coverage than he does against zone.

Have not seen much of the GB game so far. Do they have a spy on Wilson or do they just roll the dice that he won't burn them too much with his feet in man coverage ?

Not surprisingly, Seattle's defense looks a little lost without Thomas. Huge loss there.

I haven't noticed a spy yet. They're about to go back on offense now so I'll look.

packers looking good so far. can they make the playoffs if they go 10-6? very winnable schedule

I don't like the packers even against the poodle. Can green bay make the super bowl?

A NE vs Seattle rematch would be drastically different. The outcome of that game had more to do with poor scheme/execution by NE than anything Seattle did.

The Patriots will probably trot that same defensive scheme out. For better or worse, that is just the way they play mobile quarterbacks. I hope you're right and BB realizes now that you cannot simply let Wilson sit in the pocket and find the holes in the zone, but history with this team disagrees.

This Packers defense is putrid. I'll be shocked if Wilson doesn't lead them to at least 20+ points.

With DEN's loss today, the next NE win guarantees HFA over DEN unless DEN wins the AFCW and NE fails to win the AFCE.

I'm curious about this - could you explain further? If NE and Denver both win their division at 11-5, and the AFC south and AFC north winners are 10-6, wouldn't the first tiebreaker be head-to-head? And Denver would have beaten NE in that scenario. Is this scenario just not possible?

This time w/o Gronk though.

Also gonna guess Eric Rowe and Van Noy would be active for that game if healthy.

@luuked Packers played zone on the last play I saw but still had a spy on Wilson.

What a crap punt by Seattle
