I don't think anyone is missing this. There is no reason to make a roster transaction too soon if it will be internal (practice squad up). There are still 6 days until Monday night, I doubt we will go into the game with only 3 WRs on the 53.

I agree that our backup receiver will most likely be one of the youngsters on the practice squad.

Most of the time these things (DJ at WR) end up being non stories and are just for emergencies but as Foster is a former WR, him playing there and getting the ball in space is intriguing. He caught 222 passes at U of A.

The only healthy guy that they are not using (yet) is Kilgo. Maybe they want to keep him also for future contract. Hard to cut now. Unless they put somebody on IR (hopefully not Amendola or Slater = Richards).
