Haven't seen much about this, but I haven't been seeing great protection the last few weeks, especially on Brady's blind-side. Obviously Seattle's front four is well above average, but they will get even stronger with Bennet coming back.

I am sure Scar will fix whatever is ailing the line, and we obviously have bigger concerns (defense obviously) but I always worry if the line starts to falter a little down the stretch.

Barring injury, we are fine with our starters, and Fleming, Karras and Waddle as backups.

I have other concerns which I think are more pressing, for example the secondary, pass rush and place-kicking consistency. I think the o-line has been surprisingly good, considering what I was expecting, particularly in run-blocking. Pass blocking has been somewhat inconsistent, but OK overall.

They've simply been "ok" so far, IMO.

They've been fine enough. Brady's getting a chance in the pocket this year, unlike last year. No one on the line is looking like a turnstile.

Also bear in mind we've faced Buffalo and Seattle the last couple games. Those are damn good pass rushes.

Haven't seen anything because the OL has been fine. Given that it has a rookie at LG, 2nd years guys at C and RG and the #3 OT starting at RT.

Dallas OL has allowed 71 pressures this year
NE OL has allowed 85 pressures this year.

Everybody jizzes themselves over the Dallas OL.

Problem with this take is you think the OL is at fault for all of it. But the fact is most of the pressure/hits Brady has taken in the games you are talking about was due to good coverage.

I don't doubt the stats but Brady probably gets rid of the ball much faster than Dak.

I generally watch the games and I do not worry about anything ...

You realize that the 85 pressures include the 4 games that Garoppolo and Brissett played, right?

Near nothing about the O worries me outside of health. Hell, Bennett caught that TD in Cleveland and you see Gronk celebrating before he gets in the ends zone.

Juxtaposition that with the Ds emotional showing and that's where my worries are.

And Ghost. Still nervous about him.

It's no longer in my top things to worry about. (Hail, Scar!)

Wish we could find a D-line Scar.

The O-line has been decent. I still think Shaq can be an issue in pass protection and Andrews is an average center, but pleasantly surprised by Cannon and Thuney. Solder is probably our most talented O-lineman but he can be inconsistent at times.

I wouldn't start making comparisons between our O-line and the Cowboys O-line however. It's just silly. They are the best unit in the league.

Yes, I am.......... Looking at you, Scar

The Jets D-Line is a handful, no doubt but we flat out missed some protection tonight for much of the game.

Anyone feeling different now?

Better than last year's

Better than last year's

yeah I second this. Its better, it seems a little inconsistent but over all not to bad. And they are better at both run blocking and pass protection than last year.

Ran the ball down the Jets throats to close out the game. I'll take it.
