The football fan in me wants SEA. You know it will be a great game and judging by what Sherman said after the game there's a ton of respect for us on their side too. If the Pats played the Seahawks more often I could easily see them as one of the NFLs great rivalries with us.

But the Pats fan in me wants the Giants for obvious reasons.

Any team without a mobile QB, Bill and Matt seem to crap their pants in terms of strategy when facing running QB's.

Path of least resistance: Chicago.

But to answer the question, Giants. I don't believe that ancient sports history has any bearing on today. Plus the Giants aren't as good as Seattle. So again, path of least resistance.

You shouldn't even be suggesting that we may want to face the Giants.

Honestly the way this defense is playing right now they won't make it to the SB. Theyll be eliminated in the AFCCG. However if this team improves their d line I rather them face Seattle again. I want no part of the Giants ever again.

I see a lot of ppl here want the Giants again. A lot of ppl wanted Denver last year too. Be careful what you wish for.

Seattle will be a better team in the SB than what they showed last sunday. They'll get michael bennett back and we really don't have an answer to him. Careful what you wish for.

Giants for sure for me. Revenge

Fun question, which reminds me that the Pats were one stinkin' first down in Hooterville from getting revenge against the Bears, and possibly one Favre pick away from evening the score/going perfect against the perpetually annoying Packers. If only guys!

Would be fun to see Dallas in the Super Bowl against us just for the lulz. Can imagine the tears flowing across America.

I said the Giants. I'd like Brady to "slay that dragon" before he retires. The Seahags we already beat when it counted, and it would be great if Goober II silenced their big mouths right before the big game in the NFC Championship.

I disagree. Seattle doesnt make it that far without that BS Kearse catch. Pats win that SB without the miracle int.
I'm not sure what it is you disagree with, but the Kearse catch was a real thing that took place, and without Butler's miracle INT they would've lost the game.

That game was sandwiched between 2 other losses to Seattle, so it kind of seems as though they have our number, not the other way around.

I'm not sure that I'd necessarily agree with the idea of having Seattle's number, especially since it took a miracle goal line INT to avoid losing to them all 3 recent times. We've lost there, we've lost here, and we almost lost on a neutral field.

The two teams are obviously very evenly matched.

The loss in Seattle was by one point and featured the worst call of the year, a totally bogus intentional grounding penalty against Brady at the end of the first half that cost the Patriots points. I've seen dozens of QBs do exactly what Brady did and I've never seen anyone else get flagged for that. So that game should have been a Pats' win.

Then the Super Bowl. Yes we needed a great interception but let's not forget it took a miracle catch for Seattle to even be in position for that.

And this Sunday, the Pats absolutely should have tied that game up. Then in OT, who knows.

The series could be 3-0 Pats, 2-1 Pats, 2-1 Seattle, or 3-0 Seattle. Easily. It's that close.

Heart says Giants to shut up the notion that Belichick and Brady can't beat them. Mind fears BS catches again, this time courtesy of OBJ.

I agree with all that you've said.

if healthy? give me the giants, i would love to face them in a SB healthy and beat their ass

Not the Giants, please. They just have a knack apparently for destroying Super Bowls for me.

No Giants please. They play like crap all season and somehow sneak into playoffs and they're a different animal. I feel our chances of wining are better against Panthers than Seahawks/Giants.
