I think he might take over nickel corner towards the end of the season as well. If he develops and matures he will be a good player.

Rowe is a big mystery to me. His measurables and then the reality just don't match up. I wonder if he is just slow to process things which gives opponents a headstart.

He could be the ideal CB2 if he could play just a bit faster and harder..

Give him time. Cyrus has something in him that could make an electric returner constantly. I bet you by next season he wil fumble a lot less. It just takes some people more time to learn the ropes.

Wasn't this guy a big time returner in college? So it's not like he doesn't have any experience.

One, he probably isn't used to so many guys as big/strong as nfl avg who poke at the ball. Two, once you get the rep of a fumbler, everybody grabs at it that much harder/longer.

So it comes down to is he taking coach instruction on how to hold/when to switch or put two hands on AND are the coaches willing to let him go while he tweaks technique til he bursts that fumbler rep?

I would think/hope they would CONTINGENT on him showing that technique learning in practice.

Kevin Faulk made me cringe and hold my breath every time he touched the ball early in his career. Hopefully Cyrus follows a similar path. My heart would do much better if he didn't return kicks again this year, however.

The problem hasn't changed and that fumble could of ended the game earlier then it did, I swear on everything he better not even sniff a return during the playoffs, preferably never again. He just can't hang on and its the same kind of fumble almost every time.
