Man, I was not to happy with the first team's performance. A few positives, the defensive line was stellar and was so without Jason Taylor. Zach Thomas was also absent but youngsters Matt Roth, Abe Wright and Rod Wright all made some big plays. Trent Gree looked pretty awful tonight as did the OL. I'm not sure if Green's poor play was more a result of the line or his own doing, but the offense looked no better than last year. Ronnie Brown was met in the backfield on half of his carries but managed a few nice runs.

Cleo Lemon and John Beck both looked sharp as did the backup running backs. Jesse Chatman had a 74 yard touchdown scamper and Patrick Cobbs picked up some nice first downs. His successful 2 point conversion sealed the victory for the Dolphins.

Looking forward to Thursday vs. the Chiefs, hopefully the line improves and Vernon Carey is alright (left with a knee bruise but was walking on it.) But best of all ladies and gents, football is BACK!

At least the O-line got beat up against a good DL, with Stroud and Henderson and company (that is, if they were playing).

Yeah Stroud, Henderson, Peterson, the whole crew was in tonight. I'm not to happy with the first half of the game, offense was same old story but the defense was good again.

jesse chatman looked very good in san diego, i'm sure you'll be happy with him if brown gets hurt.

jesse just needs another chance

I'm suyre that Chatman will become Aqua's new binky since he needs to replace Wes Welker, another former Charger whom the Phins picked up.

Great thread; a blow by blow break down of the #$%^ing Doofins first preseason game, like anyone on this board gives a flying $%^& about what you wrote.

Keep practicing your "writting" skills here you douche; can't wait for your breakdown of the Doofins/Chefs game.

I guess that is the best you can do. Typical of a troll type poster.

Well I do recall claiming Wes Welker expendable at seasons end and I never said I was a big Chatman fan. I actully like Patrick Cobbs better.

Its pretty amazing how Welker became "expendable" when he became a free agent even though he led your team in receptions and the previous coaching staff was clueless on how to use him on the red zone.

As for whether you like Cobbs or Chatman better, who cares. The point is that you jump player bandwagons the way a prostitute jumps johns.

No, I just knew we needed to make room for Derek Hagan and then obviously Ginn is an upgrade over Welker as well. Not cluesless on how to use him in the red zone, smart enough not to. He'll be lucky to find the end zone 3 times this year for you guys. I'll set the over under there and say under.

When did I post on a player's bandwagon, I'm missing something big here, I just like players on the Dolphins.

How could you have known you'd need to make room for GINN when he hadn't even been drafted yet, you moron?

Saban wasn't that smart. Hell, he couldn't even keep secret that he was planning to bolt the Dolphins so forgive me if I put no credibility in the idea that your BEST RECEIVER wasn't good enough to be on your red zone offense. And, yes, last year, Welker was the Phins best receiver.

As for Hagan? Forgive me if I'm not impressed by a 6'2 receiver who 4.45 only averaging a bit over 10 yards a reception.

No need to really adress this because that's just a stupid comment. You're a moron, he had 1 TD and fewer yards than Booker and barely more than Chambers, he was our 3rd best receiver and would be the 5th best on our team this year.

Not impressed by Hagan's big frame and low YPC average? Man, the word hipocrite and the phrase double standard comes to mind when I think of your dumb ass. Keep raving about Welker, because his YPC was a whopping 10.3. I'd take Hagan over Welker any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Yes, I'm the moron because I realize that Welker is a 5'9 WR who runs a 4.6-40 and led the Phins in receiving because he actually knew how to get open. As for only having 1 TD, again, that stems from the idiot coaches in Miami not using him more in the Red Zone.

Now, as for Hagan, he's a 6'2 WR who runs a 4.45- 40. BIG DIFFERENCE in the type of receivers. If you're happy with Hagan being the #3 receiver, then you just confirm how much of a moron you are.

Welker was stuck running the underneath routes which are typically SHORTER ROUTES. Hagan, with that speed and size should be lighting things up.

OH, btw, its not hypocritical to acknowledge that Hagan should be showing enough, already, to be the Phins #2 receiver and he isn't. That was the point I was getting at. And it was clearly lost on a know nothing 19 year old loud mouth imbecile.

Aqua, some day your sorry arse will get handed to you and I really hope I get to see it because I will laugh my arse off. You only wish you knew .0000001% of the football knowledge that is on this board.
