They were clearly a miles apart in contract negotiations and Elandon Roberts has impressed enough to allow BB to see a future at LB. Still sucks we only got a 3rd rounder for him though.

Well, its a 3 round pick for 8 games really. If this happens offseason it's at least a 2nd round pick. Also lets not forget that a Browns 3 round pick is essentially a Patriots second round pick.

Well, collins did give up 2 TDs to daniels in the AFCCG last yr. So not sure he will be the difference . I am personally more worried about the effect it has in the locker room,dropping this shocker in the middle of the season at 7-1.

we can't afford collins and hightower. but the seahawks can afford top dollar deals for wilson, kam. earl thomas, jimmy graham, sherman, wagner, etc...even the broncos have talib, harris, ware, von miller, etc all on big deals.

Could someone explain to me how the 3rd round comp pick we're getting from Cleveland is better than the 3rd round comp pick we would've got anyway when he walked this offseason? Given how many big-ticket FAs we have, I think it's reasonable to assume we would've got a comp pick.
