The number is just from ESPN's stat page. I doubt that it's official. They list anyone who has caught even one pass.

That is totally incorrect by BSPN then. There's plenty of guys with 1 catch that's gone at least 25+.

Their numbers come from Elias, but you are correct. It seems that when you click on the yards per reception header, only those with at least twelve receptions are included. There are guys with fewer than ten catches whose average is above 22.1.

Morgan had 10716 yards on 557 receptions for a 19.23 yards per catch average. His highest year was his second when he averaged 24.1 yards per catch; his seventh year (1983) was his lowest with 14.9 yards per reception. He averaged more than 20 yards per catch in each of his first six years, but never thereafter. His greatest year was probably 1986 when he had 1491 yards and 10 TDs, though his yards per catch was "only" 17.8. Of course, years with more receptions count more in the career average.

He meant only 3 seasons with a yards per catch above that of Gronk's current average.
