Yep, a wonderful day in a Jets Fan's life is seeing the QB that created drama the entire off-season and who the team laid $12M out for getting benched in favor of a turnover machine who got his jaw busted by a teammate.

Do you ever stop and wonder how many good players that $12M could have bought?

The best possible upside is that he does great and then asks for $12M next year and it's the same schtick all over again.

The most likely outcome is he reminds everyone why the team needed to sign Fitzy in the first place.

Then you consider the team has two other QBs taking up space on the roster who the coaching staff clearly thinks give them less of a chance to win than either Fitzy or G?NO! and we realize a Jets Fan who claims to be happy must really be insane.

Face it, the Jets roster is a mess. Second oldest team in the league. Over the cap already for next year. Sadly (and I mean it because I never want any player to get injured, even a Jet) Eric Decker goes out on a shoulder injury and ends up having hip surgery and might not be back for the start of next season. He has to wait for his hip to heal well enough so he can get off the crutches and then get his shoulder operated on? Time for a rebuild! Actually, time for a total reboot, from the owner through the GM through the roster.

Time to see Geno/Petty/Hack and figure out how to move forward. Fitz wasn't forward. He was stationary or moving backward.

Your team's problem with "moving forward" transcends the quarterback position.

My hunch is they give Geno 2 to 3 games he falls on his face and then they give either Hackenberg or Petty some run at the end of the season. I mean if your going to suck in the NFL then suck epically so you have a shot for top pick.

Time for a rebuild! Actually, time for a total reboot, from the owner through the GM through the roster.

Doesn't go far enough.

Disband the entire organization, make all their player's free agents, and salt their fields.

Then give them a brand new franchise somewhere on the west coast, and get Roger's favorite team out of the AFC East.

Let them take their inferiority complex somewhere else, and let their envy stalk another team.

That seems to make sense. Their next games are BAL, CLE and MIA. If there's no turn around after CLE+MIA then they're 1-8 and it's time to start the auditions. If Hack is so raw he's not able to even have an audition, then you really have to question the draft pick and keeping a roster spot open for him all season long.

Didn't the Gwomen start pretty darn bad that magical season? I remember having to convince my giant fan friends to keep watching and not just be frontrunners (that's pretty common in that fanbase).
