For me the outcome was never in question. Had protection issues but had a good feeling they would get them resolved. Was kind of bewildered by the game day thread regarding the defense. 7 points in the first half was a strong performance. Had one drive extended with some bs call and still got the goal line stand.
Does anyone ever stop to think that when the Patriots are playing a soft zone it is a tactic to figure out what kind of adjustments are going to be made as the game goes on? I do.
I agree that the oline had their troubles in first half but looks like Scar got it figured it out which is what you want from your coaches. They played well for the most part from there on out. It's a young group and only going to get better. A rookie and 2 second year players. Btw, Thuney is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.
Despite the hiccups we've seen from Ghost this special teams has been absolutely phenomenal in punting as well as coverage and tackling. It's not just Slater anymore making the highlight reel.
376 yards and 3 TD's for the Goat. The game is always within reach as long as he is at the helm.
Patriots haven't thrown an interception this season, amazing.
James White with 2 TD's today. Say what you want about his mediocre running but his pass catching is right up there with the best as far as running backs go. Leave the heavy stuff to Blount.
Still eager to have a healthy Dion Lewis back there. I want that depth back there for the playoffs.
Gronk and Hernandez? great combo, Gronk and Bennett? different, but better I think for what they are trying to do. Blessed I tell you.
Anyway, congrats to BB for 4th all time, also to Brady for 5000 completions also 4th with a bunch of playoff records and SuperBowls I don't have time to type.
Awesome game and looking forward to Pittsburgh next week. Trying not to look ahead to Buffalo as I really want to seem them avenge that one loss.
