Excuse me, but I did not complain about anything. Also me spending half the time "complaining" about Jones in the game thread is not only hyperbolic, but wholly inaccurate. I made two posts about it at most, and I posted a lot in that thread.

And just because I won't bet you for something I am not certain about doesn't mean what I'm saying has no merit. Who are you again? Have a seat.

After that kind of performance, you give a guy a chance. Blount had a similar performance against Indy and he's still here. I'm not comparing the two as RBs, but I'm saying I don't think that's a fair assessment of why he got cut. He woke up late for that practice and got in the dog house. I believe that is less of an infringement than getting ejected from a game we are winning.

Perhaps to you and others that's not so much of a big deal, and I respect your opinion. Mine is that this guy doesn't fit, and hasn't contributed positively in the areas he's been given a chance. Therefore, I wouldn't mind seeing him gone, nor would I be surprised if it happened.

Obviously some of you will.
Are you talking about Jones again?

If you don't think he is a fit that's fine.

Why do you think Gray was a fit here? Do you think BB saw an attitude problem with the kid?

By the same standard you think Gray should have been given a chance for a dumb thing you want to disembowel Jones.

Not sure how that's a reach..

Allow me to explain then. I stated I made two posts about what Jones did to get himself ejected (True), and he goes on to post 2 posts of me defending myself from criticism in order to pad his numbers, attempting to back up his claim that I spent half the thread talking about Jones... again, something that happened at the end of the game.

If I spent half the thread doing that, then you'd better come with more than 2 posts, and 2 posts defending that position.

You bringing up posts of me defending myself?

I mean you must be able to grab a beer out of your fridge from the living room with that kind of a reach...

Yes, I brought up a bunch of posts in which you directly criticized Jones, since you adamantly claimed there weren't more than two of them.

Look, you spammed the game thread with a bunch of stupid ****: complaints about Jones, and then complaints about people disagreeing with your complaints. You can just leave it alone and move on, or you can double down on it like you're doing, or whatever else. But if you indignantly claim--contrary to objective fact--that you weren't incessantly complaining in the game thread, you're going to get called out like that.

BB loves guys that battle on the field.

Jones is that.

Jones needs to have better control of him emotions.

Once he does that he'll be just fine.
Jones getting bounced from the game will really help to force Jones to make a choice: gain control of his emotions or lose a career in the NFL. He is a rookie and there is no reason to believe he will become another Pacman Jones who foams at the mouth after every little setback.

What do you mean, with the bolded? Isn't this thread about Jones? I didn't make this topic lol

Jonas could have probably had an attitude problem, but that was fan speculation on this board. We didn't know the true reason Gray was in Bill's dog house outside of him missing practice. I agree that the situation around him was more than meets the eye, but who knows besides Bill himself...

About Jones, I'm not basing this off of one play in this game, or are you guys ignoring why we have/had him on special teams? Didn't he get beat today in coverage? Sure Malcom got beat too, but he's won us a Super Bowl, I'll give him the BotD.

I just don't see what you see, and that's OK... opinions.

Bad decision-making both on and off the field. It wouldn't be surprising if he takes to social media again after this ejection.

OK, I'll bite. Please list the litany of these complaints. You said "there's more"

No one complained about disagreements-- I engaged those people that quoted me. To those that left disagrees, I didn't even respond to them. To the idiots that left disagrees on posts that were innocuous(e.g. when I stated I wish Brady could pass Gronk a TD today. Why would you dislike that?), I blocked them and moved on, no big deal. So you're talking out of your ass because you're mad I won't bet you.

Put me on ignore and move on with your life, I'm done responding to you and your dumb ass critiques.

You interjected Gray.

Gray got wacked because he is average and doesn't play ST well. If he was an elite runner he'd be here.

Moving on from Jones. You think he stinks in coverage and I think he's been pretty good in the slot

Oh were you confused about that post? I interjected Gray to draw a comparison, not really to say the two situations were 1:1, as analogies never are.

I don't necessarily think that he STINKS in coverage-- I think he's got talent. But he's shown that he has emotional issues, which could cause problems in the locker room, and he just doesn't seem ready yet. Like the stage is too bright for him.

And one last thing about Gray, because you mentioned ST: we didn't need him for that. Ridley was hurt, and Vareen left the following season. We NEEDED a RB at that time. We've been playing RB by committee for the better part of two seasons. It boggled my mind how we let a guy that was capable of gaining 201 yards, 4 TDs, excellent at falling forward and decent hands go. Just was a weird decision, but in Bill I trust. We got Lewis, and Blount had an up year. So I'm not too bothered now.

What are Jones' emotional issues?

Because he was thrown out of a game?

Gray was released because he is a below average RB who happen to have the game of his life vs a ****ty run D

Let's be honest, the Patriots' gameplan made their (admittedly below average) run defense look worse. How many other teams in 2014 had two different RBs run on them the way we did? It's not like Blount is anything special either, right? Blount doesn't play ST either...

So my point is that Gray got shafted for less than what has happened with Jones (as far as in-game), thus, it is not out of the realm of possibility that Jones gets canned.

And as far as what are his emotional issues... are you aware that he has problems with domestic abuse or something (I forget) while in college? That's a clear case of someone with emotional issues. Not to mention him swinging at someone in this game.

I won't be surprised if he gets IR'd with a case of Patriots Flu with the hope that he gets his s.hit together for next season.

I get what you're trying to do, but remember the source; the GDT. If there's a more over-reactive, silly, "quick take", Felger-esque place on these forums, I'd be utterly shocked.

Oops, should have held on to Cre'von LeBlanc, ugh...as usual the Patriots undervalued a CB...maybe. How is he doing in Chicago?

I'd much prefer to have a firey competitor such as Jones opposed to Asante Samuel who thought he could pick and choose when he felt like making an effort. Once Jones learns to channel his emotion, he'll be fine.

Wow - This is a joke right?
