From the eye test, he does not play like a Patriot. He appears to be a player the Browns or Bengals usually draft.

It's not really that we're going overboard, it's that we expect a certain kind of player, with a certain kind of attitude and work ethic.

He doesn't display these qualities that we are used to and he just doesn't seem like a good fit with our culture.

He's talented but his mishaps have cost us a few times and then getting yourself tossed in a blowout win doesn't look good at all.

Like I mentioned in the game thread, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets cut.

Ahh hes a rookie, when gronk was a rookie he had THEE Fumbles in a game against cleveland. Under the old rule he probably wouldn't have been tossed out, just hit with a personal foul.

He's a rookie playing the 2nd hardest position in the NFL. Not every rookie comes out of the gate strong. It's all about player development.

Getting yourself ejected is not going to play well.

It's one thing to make mistakes as he has in the return game. Another to lose your composure - we didn't get a good view, but it was enough to earn an immediate penalty and ejection. Presumably punches thrown in reaction to a fairly minor push in the back.
