Report: Rest of NFL Scared of Tom Brady

The Bills probably should be afraid. They put up 16 points on a defense that could barely make a tackle, while the Pats offense could barely stay on the field.

I would agree, that's why I think it'll be a fun game to watch for us in the end. But I don't think the Bills will be scared unless they lay a few eggs between now and then and they are in 'mail it in' mode (which is possible)

so we are saying that brady was not this motivated last yr ? or the yr he came back from injury ? Its a fun article for a pats fan but the reactions are ridiculous.Every team is beatable and pats have been beaten before. Probably these defensive coaches havent won much.

That article is a mess. The Pats' defense "is so shaky that even Brady might not be able to save it?" And then later on, the only coach that could've done what Belichick has is Mike Tomlin? (And Harbaugh)? What the hell.

The NFL carnival and sideshow continues. Joseph Goerbels had nothing on the NFL hype machine. This is nothing more than to hype up a game that will get little attention otherwise and the NFL is starting to feel some pain of falling viewership numbers. Shamefully, the player they chose to persecute is the one they are pimping out publicly to help themselves. Here's hoping the Pats put away the game in the first quarter and everyone turns off the game. Three quarters of low viewership will put a big crimp in TV ad revenue.

The title of this article has an implied message: How many guilty people become enraged when punished?

I don't like this narrative the media is trying to sell and some here are jumping the bandwagon. Gotta keep the feet on the ground.

The team is good but got exposed last sunday, we have a battle against Denver and Steelers for HFA, it's a long season. Fortunately Belichick don't give a **** about all that and will keep the guys focused.
Got exposed? The team was down to its 3rd string QB who just so happened to be playing with an injured thumb, who in a precision passing- timing based offense developed for the GOAT QB couldn't hit the side of a barn (with open receivers) in conjunction with one of the more poor officiating adventures in recent times. If that's your definition of exposed, then we have very different definitions of the word.

If the team puts up the same Bills performance week after week with Brady at the helm, then you might have a point.

As a fan, this is fun stuff to believe, but these guys are grown men and professionals. They aren't afraid of us. It's just hyperbole.

I'm not sure why you would make a comment as such given professionals can be easily intimidated by the big fish in their pond. Hell, you only have to have watched Rodney Harrison's A Football Life episode to understand that.

That's apples to oranges. Brady is coming across the middle looking to knock your soul out of your body.

I'd agree if we were talking about a fierce defender like LT or Ronnie Lott, or Even Rodney...

But other teams aren't "literally" afraid of Tom. They respect him (obviously), but I have a hard time believing that a defensive players "fear" any QB. You wouldn't last long at this level with that kind of mindset.

WR's get shook.. Guys on the other side of the ball? Not so much.

No, it's not apples to oranges. I acknowledge your point about the difference between physical and mental anguish but the simple reality is, as a defense, having a guy who can potentially drop 50 points on you, with the CV he's accumulated, if you don't believe Brady puts the fear of God into teams, then you're sorely mistaken.

The defense got exposed.
