Does anyone else have a feeling that Donte's not fitting in?

I've had this feeling ever since he missed passing camp. I just don't think he's either fitting in or all that happy here. Anyone else?

Erm no. I just read in Mrs B's TC report that Donte was having fun and even pulled down Gaffney's pants while he was signing an autograph. Seems like he is gelling with his fellow receivers. I'm sure he isn't disapointed to be here.

I think I have as much authority to say how Stallworth is fitting is as Stallworth would have to say about me fitting in at my job or you at yours. I don't understand how anyone other than those on the team and in the organization would have any idea how he is fitting in. So, in short, basically, don't worry about it.

I'm not sure but it doesn't sound like he was happy with his PUP situation, the fact that he found out from a friend on the eve of camp and when he was asked today if he was off PUP saying "I suppose so". That doesn't sound like a real happy guy to me.

How can you disprove someone's "gut feeling", when that "gut feeling" is based on something not only the potential disprover has no way of knowing, but the said possessor of gut couldn't know.

My take is that Stallworth might be having problems with the playbook. He must have failed a written test that the Pats give to players. I know they give them during the season and if a player fails, they can be benched for a game. It could be the case here since he talked about studying his playbook all last week.

I wouldn't read too much into anything yet.

EIGHT talented players (listed below) at least two and maybe three will not be fitting in...it's as simple as that.

What a GREAT problem to have!!

Of course there is possible PUP for Chad Jack and there are some talented WR's that may stick around for our PS (if they make it through - Bam, Kight etc.)

My answer is NO...however the PUP thing is a little funny and we should remember that we signed him before we traded for Moss...would we have signed Stallworth had we known Moss was coming to town? Who knows.

I wouldn't read too much into anything yet.

This doesn't make any sense. If Stallworth was having trouble learning the playbook why would they take away the time that would be his opportunity to learn the playbook and the new offense. Holding a player out of a game because they don't know the playbook, but learning is what training camp is for. If he was having trouble they might demote hiim to second team offense but they wouldn't hold him out of practice so he would fall weeks behind the rest of the team in terms of preparation. Wouldn't that only be worsening the problem?

And maybe he was studying the playbook all last week because he had nothing else to do, seeing as he was on the physically unable to perform list and was unable to practice.

I don't understand why when a receiver is having a little trouble for whatever reason people immediately jump to the conclusion that he is having trouble learning the playbook. You know there are other factors in a player's performance, or lack there of.

Okay, at this point my head's about to explode. The amount of not just conjecture, but RANDOM, wildly speculative and totally bat$hit insane, way, WAY off the beaten path conjecture is truly mindblowing.

He had a little something wrong, as did many of the PUP players, they took care to let whatever he had going on heal up, and now he's better so he's back in action. Isn't this the most obvious, likely reason?

As for not knowing the playbook - good Lord, don't you think it would put him MORE behind to then not be on the field running the plays??? Come on, guys, I realize the off-season is tough, but let's not make it worse with crazy, baseless crap like this.

We are just past the new phase of the moon. THerefore during the day tomorrow, the moon will be on the other side of the earth. When it explodes, it will kill everyone in Asia and Australia, but the Americas will survive unharmed.
