The issue wasn't WHAT he said. As you said everyone has an opinion. What set me off was WHERE he said it. This was supposed to be a thread where people could get a good laugh and if they wanted support 3 worthy causes. It was NOT the place to make political statements just because you don't like the politics of some of the participants. It was inappropriate plain and simple.

I bet most of the posters on ANY forum don't have a clue what their best friends political preference is. I couldn't care less, I call them my best friends because they're awesome people.

Kaepernick was doing it for months unnoticed. This only became an "issue" when a camera finally caught it, the local guys noticed it awhile back before it went viral.

Colin is not being disrespectful to the country (who people have died for to protect his right to kneel, btw). He has stated loud and clear, he is not protesting the military, the country, or even the police in whole, simply those who abuse their power because of race.

And since he was noticed he has pledged sizeable amounts of money to causes to help solve some issues in the country..

The problem lies with those who refuse to see anything wrong, there are black white and brown's being gunned down for no reason all over the country.

People are racist. Media is biased. Guns are still innocent, IMHO. Find ways to fix the broken, malleable, sentient, not the inanimate objects. I applaud anyone fighting for awareness to issues.

Tell me @captain insano, did you dislike the clip, the fact they were promoting a charity, or the fact they are movie actors. Maybe you disliked the fact that one charity did it good works in Africa, or one dealt with water instead of beer. Or maybe you disliked that the Tom Brady Foundation is tax exempt.
