I know we already have Develin & Harbor on the roster, but this a guy that BB has spoken highly of in the past. He's also extremely versatile & plays SPECIAL TEAMS He could also spell Blount at times during the game.....think we kick the tires???

If Develin weren't around, I'd say yes.

FWIW, his 40 time was much faster than Develin's, but Develin is bigger and I think stronger.

Is he smart? Develin's one of the smartest guys in the league. Also for the purpose of team building, Develin is a true patriot, does everything he can to help the team win.

Yes....and fullback....and TE.....and receiver.....and Special teams. Quite the chess piece. Also, he was undrafted so he'd be relatively cheap.

Looks like it was money related and other players passed him on the roster because he was suspended.

If they really like him, it's Harbor or Derby that walks.

Having said that, however, I doubt that Bill gives him a look right now. If it ain't broke...

Develin is a beast of a lead blocker. He solder and Bennett destroyed houston all night thursday.

He's way more talented than Develin. BUT, Develin just has that something, his team loves him, his coaches love him, and he gives everything he has for the team. A true Patriot type of player. Reece is a special kind of player though, good runner (good speed), good receiver, willing blocker, just a great athlete.

I think he'd be a perfect luxury pickup for the Pats, could spell Blount as a big back, I'd love him over Harbor. BUT, I think even if the Pats put in a claim, someone else would pick him up before the Pats, I'd be shocked if he goes unclaimed.

The unfortunate thing is that Reese is a better all-around player than several they currently have on the roster. However due to depth and some of the promising youth they have its hard to find a place for him here.
