Injury practice update: Gronk present, Hightower absent

Stupid Madden Curse

Thursday, Hightower still out, Gronk was there but ran no routes, did a little blocking.

Safe to say they're both out this week but don't have anything major (as Hightower returned last week and Gronk is at least out there).

Despite newfound optimism for the first four, my goal remains to be tied for first in the division after Week 4 with Gronk healthy and ready to go.

One of the two teams tonight will be 0-2 guaranteed, and the Dolphins could be 1-3 by Week 5. The Bills could be 0-4 by Week 5 since they still have AZ and the Pats after the Jets. Tonight is actually a bigger deal now than it seemed like a week ago when everyone and their dog thought the Pats would get crushed.

Kinda glad now that we didn't go after RB Arian Foster dude is made of paper...glass is more durable.

Is it time for us to push the Panic button yet?

If you feel like Gronk and Hightower should be playing in this game, then have at it.
I, quite frankly, am not scared of the Dolphins secondary or their offense. The DL is the strongest unit on their squad.

I Really hope we brush up our Red Zone D I know they got 14pts off TO's short field and all but we were too loose on D in the RZ.

Kinda think Gronk will be back with TB and Nink in October. What's the rush?

Wow that Gronk really going 100% out there...take your time Gronk.

I think they will be back when they are ready. BB doing what's best for the team. Beeeeeeeeeeep.

Curran says he believes Gronk is legitimately hurting and this is not a "dad is making him stay out until he's 110%" case:
Gronkowski: ‘If I could play, I would play’
The whole "Gronk is using this injury as leverage for Gronk Inc" is noting more than media crap. This entire week, every time I check Felger, he going on either about the "Gronk injury, wink wink", or that Bellichick cost the Pats a superbowl because of his stupid strategy in Miami last season.

They all point to the fact that the initial injury happened a month ago, and then conveniently forget to mention that it was reported that he re-injured it doing rehab work 2 weeks ago. Just more and more of our local (because Felger isn't the ONLY one using this cynical click baiting tactic) TROLLING

It really pisses me off that Gronk and the Pats have to defend themselves publicly against speculation these idiots KNOW isn't true.

People are idiots. I do think that Gordie does provide advice to Gronk on how to handle particular situations (as a father should) but to assume that it's Gordie who decides if Gronk plays or not is ********.

Gronk is his own man and he has the ability to decide if he can play or not. An injured hamstring sucks. His hammy is barking and those things take time.

Even if the probability of aggravating it and making it worse is high?

That is short term thinking.
That's a straw man.
If he isn't healthy enough to play he shouldn't. If he is he should.

Same as any player.
