When Will the Gronkmonster Return?

It's only one game, but maybe Gronk will be less important than year's past (No Gronk = offense screwed) because we have wr depth. We put up 370 yards and 23 points vs. an elite defense.

As long as the 4 WR rotation + White + the 6 man OL (Bennett the blocking machine) keeps working then we can afford to get Gronk up to 100%.

Hamstring injuries can be extremely stubborn. Gronk hurt it almost a month ago now and he's still out. I think we can certainly beat MIA without him, but I worry about BUF and HOU. BUF is actually the game I think we can lose in the first four, if any (though I'm maintaining 4-0), so I'd want him to play in that game as an added layer of security for Jimmy. Whatever. If we get him back around the same time as Dion, let's say, I think we're still in good shape.

Why not speculate further but maybe Gronk has zero confidence that Jimmy will put the ball in spots that would keep him out of harms way? (See Peyton throwing to Welker)

He hung out JE11 out to dry a couple of times...

Want Gronk back sooner?
Like my man Wilfork he has his weakness.
Bob Kraft is known for setting an excellent training table.
Put out the word so Gronk sees it "It's kielbasa week at Gillette, all week" for those fully participating in practice.
He'll be there. Trust me.

Its fun to speculate but you are correct. Hammy injuries take a long time to heal and if not 100% healed can re-injure very easily.

Eh looks like people didn't watch that and are twisting what was said around.

He actually had no update or new information. He just said he missed this game and Pats have 2 games in 10 days.

This was a segment to fill air.

Keep his ass OUT!!!!!!.....as long as he needs to be.........until he's fully healed.........then, bring his ass back!!!!!

As I'm sure we all are; I cannot wait to attend the Boston TE party...going to pay major dividends down the stretch

We will be in the play offs, and are at least going 2-2 during this four game stretch. Let him come back when he is fit, there really is no rush.

He will be useful later on!

With Gronk being out the Bennett/Hogan signings are Huge and when Amendola is an after-thought he'll kill you on Offense. Whatever we get from Mitchell and Derby is gravy...this Offense was made to withstand an extended Gronk injury. Would rather a 85% Gronk later in the year than 60% Gronk now...take your time Big guy.

This gets posted enough times the media will run it as the story. Can't wait for Bill to have to explain why he's allowing Gronk to sit out games.

It'll happen I'm sure. Throwing out the kind of trash I just did is ok here but for Trollin or Howe to print it is a different story.
