"The team went in there and looked like they were focused and prepared. They played so well in so many areas. It was great to see the offense get off to a great start, it was a great first drive -- lot of great plays by Jimmy, by the skill players; the offensive line did a great job. To get up 10-0 like that was huge, on the road. I think that was a great way to start the game for our team."

He talks about watching the game on TV and how much fun it is.

Yeah, he's mastered Belichikian and Theater 400-series classes. He's playing for the mediots and reportards here. Those familiar with him know he's likely to be working out hard, using it to repress his frustrations about his situation. I know I'd be using a heavy bag and imagining every frikkin' one of my punches landing square in the middle of Goodell's face.

Just waiting for Mort to post a Tweet saying that someone from the league told him that it was hiring Ted Wells to investigate whether this qualifies as a form of "communication" with his teammates.

he'll never use the R word until he's ready to use it, but you're right that he's not going to give Goodell the satisfaction of looking like he's moping...he'll just take care of that business on the field when he gets back.

What I thought was interesting was that he said he could communicate with the team and coaches to congratulate them on the win but he couldn't discuss anything related to team business (gameplans, injuries, etc).

Instead of worrying about hubby playing another season of football the Commander In Chief is realizing what having post football Tommy around the home will be like, has changed her tune and is now probably urging him to play until 45.

Outside of on the field what I love best about Brady is that he's made me realize that I am not, definitely not The Most Whipped Guy On The Planet.

Anyone who doesn't think that this man will come back on fire and ready to lay waste to the league has not been paying attention. He can be as nice and PC as he wants in every interview between now and then and his wife can post as many lighthearted Instagram's or MyFace's as she wants, but Brady is fuming. As much as I know he's happy the team won and part of me feels he's even content to see Jimmy have some success, I'm POSITIVE he's disgusted with not being able to be a part of Sunday night. And watching Jimmy get the game ball has to be driving the competitor in him nuts. Yeah, he's going to be a man on the ultimate mission to prove he is still the captain, he is still the GOAT and he can still get it done. I don't think Brady will settle for anything less than a ring . . . probably more so than any other season in his career.
