what makes you so sure? Bb has drafted a RB in first round before

And do you think a 40 year old Brady doesn't deserve first round talents at premium positions?
Once. And how did that work out?

I think Brady deserves the best team Bill can put together and I trust him to do just that, and not run around chasing shiny hood ornaments.

Well, you've got me there - technically in his final play as a rookie, Butler was the definition of a "World Beater", and yeah he did have a great game overall, but his season in general wasn't filled with highlights or anything.

...and a painful reminder is that Ryan was destroyed in the SB.

I give him credit though. He overcame it and had a helluva 2015.

Am I misunderstanding, or doesn't that say 6'0" 6/8? Which is to say, round to 6'1"
I think the 6006 means 6 feet, 0 6/16 inches, or 6'0" and 3/8. Maybe I'm wrong though. Either way, he's less than 6'1".

It's just occurred to me that Eric Rowe is a lot like Sean Davis that went to Pittsburgh in this latest draft, just two picks ahead of Cyrus. This trade, and the high compensation, makes me wonder whether Davis might have been the pick ahead of Cyrus? Just some idle speculation (I'm happy with Cyrus).

Says 3/8ths which is closer to 6'- 0 than 6' - 1"

3/8ths is also 6/16ths though.

I don't see him as a Chung-type player?

Rowe is a cover guy

Yeah, but again, the ability for him to be flexible in coverage allows that option to be available. If push comes to shove I think that would be the way he lines up. It wouldn't be the only way though.

Yeah. He clarifies that later. But the 4th will probably be a 3rd if Rowe plays enough snaps which is possible.

The pick can become a 3rd if Rowe plays enough snaps in either 2016 or 2017.. So, in all likelihood, it will be a 3rd unless Rowe just falls flat.

A 2018 4th.

This tells me he's planing to let Ryan walk, and he suspects he will get a 2018 4th round comp pick in return for him.

If this pans out, then we basically stole him.

Like ****ing stole him!

They'll only get a comp pick IF they lose more players than they sign. And, It's much more likely a Duron Harmon off-set than a Ryan off-set since Rowe played Safety in College.

3/8ths is also 6/16ths though.

I know it's a small point, but I really think those numbers are 8ths, and it says 6 8ths. (If you look at other players on the same site you'll find that the fractional numbers never go above 7, and 4+ is rounded up to the next inch in the main listing.)

Just for a reference

Sammy Watkins measured 6006 at the combine and he is listed as 6' 1"

In an emergency I guess...Thats fine I just don't see him as a run-supporting SS.

Oh man! Adding JaCorey Shepherd really would get me excited. He was definitely a draft binky of mine.

(iOS autocorrects binky as hunky. Probably some truth there )

Surprised LeBlanc or Roberts didn't make it instead.

I bet you also thought no way would BB sign a top flight free agent like Darelle Revis. Point being, BB does the unexpected all the time. Just because he hasn't drafted a wR in first round doesn't mean he won't break the trend.

Those shiny hood ornaments help our team win. And don't rely on an aging 40 year old QB to have the carry the team on his back with less WRs.

Did anyone like Davis? I can't recall.

I think coverage ability is more important than height. I'll take a 5'10" guy who covers well over a 6'1 guy who doesn't.
I think it's severely overrated. Very few passes are completed to receivers just because they can reach higher than a corner who is in good position.

if Malcom Butler was 3 inches taller, he'd have 3x as many PD's and Int's
